LUXOR
We left Aswan via a Felucca that picked us up from the dock at our hotel on the Nile. The felucca was a traditional wooden sailboat with a simple yet elegant design that has been used on the Nile for centuries. It had a distinctive triangular sail, called a lateen sail, which is crafted to catch even the lightest breeze, gliding the boat smoothly across the water. The seating area was open and inviting, lined with colorful cushions and soft mats that transformed the deck into a cozy lounging space. We stretched out or sat cross-legged, comfortably enjoying the ride while soaking in the scenery, making the experience as relaxed and timeless as the Nile itself.
